Beyond Home Entertainment trading with multiple Retailers by EDI
Nortech supplied and commissioned an EDI system for Beyond Home Entertainment trading with multiple retailers, including: BigW, Target, Kmart, Sanity, JB HiFi, and ABC Stores. This implementation includes connectivity to their other business systems: Microsoft NAV and Manhattan ILS. The Solution is used over two sites connected in real time.
EDI Orders received are sent directly into their Accounting system without data entry and are passed through to the warehouse without manual intervention required.
In this way, all orders and responses are processed electronically without data entry. Orders are received as well as responses and invoices sent back to their customer.
The EDI messages implemented include Purchase Order (PO), Purchase Order Response (POA), Functional responses, Shipment Notices (ASN) , Electronic Invoice (E-Invoice), Product Activity Data (PAD)
Kosmeatrading with David Jones

AFS, fitness supplier Online Retailer and drop ship warehouse
Nortech supplied and commissioned an EDI system to Australian Fitness Supplies (AFS). The system provides an electronic connection between them, the Online Retailers and the third party logistics warehouse.
This implementation provides a seamless flow of Orders, Invoices and despatch Notices, between three different systems and without any manual keyboard data entry.
Speed Impex, magazine supplier to newsagents
Nortech supplied and commissioned an EDI system for Speed Impex to trade electronically with Newsagents.
This implementation provides direct connectivity from the suppliers accounting system directly to each Newsagents point of sale systems.
Supplier to CBA bank. electronic invoicing
Nortech supplied and commissioned an EDI system to a supplier to Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) for the purpose of transmitting an electronic invoice to the bank. The advantge to the supplier is faster payment, typically within 7 days,and no manual intervention for sending invoices. The advantage to the bank is no manual handling of invoices in the accounts payabale divison (AP division).
